Does this product contain shellfish?
Yes. It contains shellfish-derived glucosamine, with crab, lobster, and crawfish declared by the supplier. Do not consume it if you are allergic to shellfish. Read this disclosure even if you have used another turmeric product, since turmeric formulas can contain very different additional ingredients.
Is this vegetarian or vegan?
No. The capsule shell is hypromellose, but the formula contains shellfish-derived glucosamine. The capsule material does not establish that the whole product is plant-based. If you want a vegetarian or vegan turmeric product, this formula does not meet that requirement.
Is the 800 mg amount all curcumin?
No. The 800 mg figure is turmeric root powder. A separate 100 mg ingredient is labeled turmeric 95% curcuminoids. Turmeric powder, curcuminoids, and curcumin are related but different descriptions; they should not be combined into a claim of 900 mg of pure curcumin.
How long does a bottle last?
The suggested use is two capsules once daily. A 60-capsule bottle therefore provides 30 days. Follow the product directions or your healthcare professional's instructions. Do not increase the amount to match the dose of a different turmeric, glucosamine, or ginger product.
